Travis Hamilton is a financial adviser and business owner with 15 years’ experience in the financial services industry. As Managing Director of Plan B Financial Services Ltd, he specialises in life and health insurance, helping clients make sense of their options and put the right protection in place for themselves, their families and their businesses.

Travis is passionate about making financial advice straightforward, practical and easy to understand. He believes insurance doesn’t need to be complicated, and takes the time to understand each client’s circumstances before providing advice tailored to what matters most to them.

Alongside his work at Plan B, Travis is the Oceania Chair of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), the premier global association for financial professionals. He has been a Top of the Table MDRT member and has previously served as New Zealand Country Chair and as a member of the MDRT Adviser Academy Task Force. He has also served on the Advisory Board of Quality Product Research (QPR).

Travis is committed to supporting the ongoing development of the financial advice profession. He has developed adviser training programmes, regularly speaks at industry events in New Zealand and internationally, and enjoys sharing practical ideas that help advisers improve their businesses and the experience they provide to clients.

He is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Economics.

Travis is married to Kate & a father of two boys. When he’s not working, Travis enjoys playing indoor football, tennis, touch rugby & socialising with family & friends.
